Lucky me, I am about to head out for a road-trip with hubby in our 92 Volkswagen Westfalia Eurovan named Ruby. Just packing now for a departure in a few days and the essentials include bedding and camp stove and kayak but my must-haves include paints and paper, sketchbook and pencils.

Our travels will be mostly camping with a few hotel stays as we travel to and from New England from our home in Vancouver. We like to travel without making any specific plans for routes or timing but I will make time for painting along the way from the ‘picnic table studio’.
