Looking for a shop to sell my work

A little fun news to share - something that I’ve been looking for has come my way. I had been thinking it would be nice to have a local outlet for my paintings and pottery - and I found a store that really suits my work.. It’s in the Kitsilano neighbourhood that I live in - and it is also a few doors away from the location of my own retail store that I ran in the 80s (whole other life - whole other story).

It takes gumption and a thick skin to present your own art for sale. I’d been ready to find a place for a few months but not had the time or focus to make it happen. The owner has a collection of beautiful things for sale and while hubby and I were enjoying looking in her store, we had been chatting - and on this day - all the stars aligned and I posed the question “Would you be interested in selling my original paintings?” I showed her some photos and she immediately said - yes - bring them all in!

EDIT to update that as of 2022 I am no longer supplying this shop and would be delighted to find another!
