Small feature in Uppercase magazine!

Things that make me happy - painting and making things. I don’t do these things to get seen or noticed - I really just do them because I love to make and paint. BUT - I’m also a follower and fan of other makers and painters and potters and I like to see their work on Instagram and at markets. I also subscribe to a very inspiring Canadian creative magazine called Uppercase - I love it!

Occasionally I get an email newsletter from the publisher in my inbox and… well - one of those was a call to action and I responded. It was an open call for the recurring Fresh section of the quarterly magazine and after several months - the images and the blurb that I submitted will become part of the Spring 2020 issue #45. It will be available in April and can be pre-ordered on the Uppercase website (you should subscribe though - it will not disappoint). I’ve shared this news with my close friends and family and I feel pretty excited and proud of myself.

EDIT: It arrived in my mailbox - in April. So delighted.
